- Å tro er det viktigste, dersom man tror på noe så kan det bli virkelighet (placebo, etc.)
- Det er lettere å kurere en fobi på 10 minutter enn på fem år (han tror på "Fast Philia")
- Si noe du vet er sant, f.eks. "Sola vil stå opp i morgen".
- Si så noe du ikke er 100% sikker på, f.eks. "I morgen får vi omelett i lunsjen på jobben"
- Føl forskjellen på de to bildene, som Bandler selv skriver:
in a different location? Is one up and the other down? Is one to the right and
the other to the left? Are they in the same place?"

These are such stuff as subjectivity is made of. You've all got pictures,
voices, feelings, music, taste, balance, smell. That's what there is.
About subjectivity you can't be wrong. It's the one thing in life that you
can't be wrong about. It's your own subjectivity. If a picture looks like it's
on the right, that's where it looks like it is.
Go through your representations. Look at one, then look at the other.
Is one picture bigger? Is one brighter? Is one closer? Is one in color and the
other in black and white? Or are they both in color, both in black and white?
Is one a slide, like a still snapshot?
Or are they both movies? Is one in focus and the other out of focus? Is one
three-dimensional and the other two-dimensional?
How about your hearing? Does the voice come from a different
direction in one as opposed to the other? Does it have a different tempo?
Does it sound like the voice starts closer or further away? Is it your voice or
your father's?"
Konklusjon
Tanken er at man skal kunne bytte disse bildene. Finner man ut forskjellen på "det man absolutt tror på som en sannhet" og det man er usikker på - så kan man ta bildet av det man er usikker på og forplante det som noe man er absolutt sikker på i hjernen.
Ergo kan man ta fobier og fjerne dem.
